Welcome

"The Dove of Peace
flies from site to site, through as many countries as possible.
Please help it make a line around the globe by taking it with you to
your site, by giving it to someone for their site, by passing it on to
another continent, or to the conflict areas of the world..."

Welcome to my little corner of the web.
This site is a combination of things that I love (my family and
friends), things that interest me, and things that, I'll admit,
interested me once and I keep up out of sheer inertia. I hope
you'll enjoy your visit to my little Internet home. I'm redoing
this page, so if you come across a broken link, please let me know.

I'm in the process of removing the individual photos from
my page and putting up collages of some of those photos. In the
case of the wedding photos, most of those have been taken down.
The collage has photos of the wedding itself.

It's more than likely that this will be primarily fan works, such as LJ

I've
finally completed my capstone inquiry project for my master's degree in
elementary education. At the time of chosing a topic, we were
still living in Belgium, and didn't know just when we'd be coming back
to the US. With the prospect of Zach going to school overseas for
a time, I decided to look at ways of helping international students
integrate into new schools. The paper, Integrating
International Students,
is now completed and available here as a PDF. Unfortunately, it's
too large as one file (at 622KB), so it's broken down into several
smaller zipped files. Adobe reader can be
downloaded here.
Part 1
(Introduction, Cultural Understanding, Breaking the Language Barrier,
Bibliography)
Part 2
(Building a Sense of Community, Transition Challenges, Parental Wish
List, Conclusion and Methodology)
